There are a number of bicycle hire outlets covering most of the Chilterns, providing a range of bikes from basic hybrids to top class road bikes and full suspension downhill mountain bikes.
The Cycle Chilterns Bike Hub in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire is a new bike hire facility created to increase cycle hire opportunities in the Chilterns. Funded by Cycle Chilterns, the new bike hire fleet currently consists of 12 Trek hybrid bikes with front suspension in a range of sizes and perfect for riding local cycle routes such as NCN57, the Chilterns Heritage Routes or the Chilterns Cycleway. Electric bikes are available to hire too.
As well as cycle hire, the Bicycle Workshop is already a popular bicycle repair centre. Health Rides and Ladies Only rides are also taking place in the area with participants being able to use the hire bikes for free.
