Cycling friends – join a local cycle group

There are lots of cycling groups and clubs in and around the Chilterns covering Beds, Herts, Bucks and Oxon catering to a wide range of abilities – from Saturday morning tea shop rides to Tuesday evening club runs, there’s something for everyone.

Many of the groups listed below organise a number of rides throughout the week, catering to different types of riding. Some of them are official clubs affiliated to either the CTC or British Cycling, others are just groups of friends or bike shops that get together on a regular basis.

Riding with a group is a great way to help improve your cycling and give you the motivation to get out and ride on even the dreariest day. And whatever cycling you do, or want to do, there’s a group and ride for everyone. If you know of a cycling group we haven’t listed below, please contact us with the details.
