Cyclists are more aware than most of problems on the road. Whether it’s potholes, broken and flooded drains, missing signage, blocked bridleways, overgrowth, flooded lanes and so on. On a regular basis we venture out where others fear to tread and often encounter some of these problems. But what can you do?
Well, every County Council has a highways agency whose job it is to look after these things. And all of them have an online reporting system to easily register new faults, with quite an impressive rate of rectification.
The biggest gripe in recent years for cyclists is potholes, so why not report them at CTC’s ‘Fill That Hole’ website. The site is a quick and easy way to report potholes and road defects and now has its own App for iPhone with an Android version available later in 2014.
