Got a budding Steve Peat or Tracy Moseley riding off planks in the garden or trying to wheelie down the street? Then why not get them some first class mountain bike skills training this summer on one of our free two hour sessions at Aston Hill near Wendover.
The “Junior DeVo 1” skills courses are aimed at those just getting into mountain biking and will give a great introduction to basic skills such as ‘pumping’, jumps, drops, cornering techniques and riding rough, rooty sections of trail at speed. Each course will last two hours and use the wide variety of off-road trails at Aston Hill Bike Park, including the new pumptrack, funded by Cycle Chilterns in 2013.
Training is delivered by Ian Warby of B1ke.com, a local skills instructor with years of experience coaching all ages and abilities from beginners to elite level athletes competing at world class level in both downhill and cross-country mountain bike disciplines.
For older or more experienced riders check the B1ke.com website for information on the DeVo 2 programme.
